London Temp of the Month
6/5/2008
Our 'Temp of the Month' award for April 2008 goes to Gosia Wisnieska. Gosia has been working for Tate since June 2006 and is currently working at Accenture. She received 5 nominations from the Line Managers she has worked with during her time at Accenture, and below is what was said about Gosia:
‘Gosia is a self-motivated, hardworking committed member of our project team, who will stop at nothing to add maximum value. She has a ‘can do’ attitude, is very dependable and has a high aptitude, which she uses to successfully stand up to every challenge posed to her.
Gosia has made some extremely valuable contributions to the project and has in essence, been a critical element of this high performing team. She has also ‘grown’ in terms of skills acquired and her learning curve generally and has used this development to give back to the team. Gosia assumed the role of training and communications responsibilities within the project team and has been instrumental in building the communications portal for our project team. Gosia has been very responsive to requests and was never limited by her experience. She dedicated much time navigating the tool and reading reference documentation to self develop and produce very real results for the team.
Overall, working with Gosia has been an absolute delight!’
‘Gosia has recently assisted with the F&S Community Event by means of hosting a Service Management Framework stand in the absence of the project manager and in pulling together documentation and presentation content for our Service Development break out session. Gosia’s assistance was instrumental in the success of the day and her efforts proved invaluable in pulling the content together for all required activities within very tight timescales.
She is always willing and never says no regardless of her busy schedule and we would like to see her rewarded for her consistent high performance.’
‘Gosia truly demonstrates a can-do attitude. All of her activities should really have been performed by one of my team but Gosia recognised that none of them are based there and has on every occasion offered to help.
I wanted to share this with you and put her forward for Temp of the Month since I think she is a shining example of someone with a real sense of customer service.’
‘I was on training during Gosia’s first week with us but was pleasantly surprised when I returned to find that she immediately came into the team and provided assistance. Even without full knowledge of the project, Gosia was able to assist project managers with conference calls, meeting organisation and other pieces of work. I received feedback from nearly all my project managers to say how much help Gosia had been, but also to praise her ability to step into a role and take the lead with little direction.
We are now 2 months on and Gosia has made fast progress with some of the deliverables she has been faced with. Not only has she delivered on time but she has used her skill and previous experience to recommend new ways of working, systems, and information and alternative technologies.
She also helped set up some training during early January. Her help and participation in the day didn’t go unnoticed. The trainer made an effort at the end of day on commenting on what good people we have in our organization and in particular mentioned Gosia.’
‘I can’t praise Gosia enough and am delighted we have her on our team she is an asset. I would very much like this to be recognized via the temp of the month award.’
Well done Gosia and keep up the good work! Enjoy your £70 worth of Restaurant vouchers!
The other nominated candidates for April 2008 were Sophie Warnars (Berkeley Homes), Charlotte Robery (BPP Professional Education) and Hayley Packman (Bell Projects Ltd), and they too have only received good feedback. Well done, and you each will be receiving a Voucher for M&S in the mail.
