Profile:

We are looking for a Customer Service Centre Advisor to work with General Enquiries Helpdesk Team within the Free Maps Initiative 2009.


This is an interesting and varied role within a seasonal project team.  You should be MS Office suite literate and possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal).  This is not a customer service department that involves sales or complaints.  Our ideal candidate will have an experience with strong office administration or an office-based customer services environment or of Graduate calibre.

You will be required to provide information to external customers regarding all aspects of Ordnance Survey’s products and services to address specific customer requests. You will have responsibility for owning and resolving customer requests to achieve service standards in support of customer service goals.

As part of the process of tracking and analysis of customer data to drive service improvements you will be required to update business systems with relevant information.

You may be required to assist the Licensing team in busier periods and will be required explain contractual terms and conditions to customers to clarify Ordnance Survey licensing policy.
