Having had three bad experiences with recruitment agencies, I came to Tate with very little confidence & and even less hope. I was very impressed by my initial contact at Tate. They were very helpful and keen to have my CV looked at without the ‘not another graduate’ approach. Unfortunately my interviews were unsuccessful on two occasions. However, to my surprise Tate did not give up on me. I was sent encouraging emails and received positive phone calls from Rob Gower, informing me that all the consultants at Tate continued to keep me in mind for any relevant openings that came up. This was extremely comforting to know at the time. I am aware that this is very rare in most agencies and I was very fortunate to have received such a professional service.
During my final job application at Tate I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Gower. Rob consistently displayed a high level of professionalism. Prior to my interview, Rob and I met for an informal chat and interview briefing. He was extremely encouraging and provided me with some very helpful tips. I left the office feeling very confident and well prepared for the interview. I was extremely impressed by his patience and support throughout the ‘waiting’ period following the interview. He was very approachable even after receiving five hysterical phone calls from myself and in all my panic Rob continued to encourage and reassure me. Then I got a phone call and it was an offer - I had the job!! He was very understanding of my situation and made sure that I was comfortable with the requested start date and offer terms. Since, Rob has shown genuine interest in how I have been getting on in my new role and we have been in touch via email and phone.
Every opening that was put forward to me was very relevant to my experience and requirements. I received an excellent service at Tate. I would just like to say a special Thank you to Rob Gower for his outstanding service. I am now working in a role I love, in a company I thoroughly enjoy working for. I will continue to use Tate in the future and forward Rob’s contact details to people within my social network.
